In Ground Pool Heating
Inground Pool Heating
Congratulations
On your new swimming pool heating project! We have always believed that a swimming pool is a great investment. Our loyal customers had told us over the years their reasons for owning a swimming pool and they are all very similar: to keep the family together in the backyard, instead of the street, to add value to their property, to enjoy more relaxing tropical time at home, to exercise or do physical therapy. Some think they are pretty to look at. 🙂 There is something about water in your backyard landscape to help you relax with your umbrella drink while contemplating the world. Whatever your reason is we, want to help you with the most important part, making that pool warm so you can enjoy it for the most days possible during the year instead of 2 warm weeks in July where the swimming pool gets above 80 F, like most of the Northern and midwestern states.

With an inground pool you have different heating choices. For 95% of the application a pool heat pump will be our favorite. We also distribute gas heaters and solar systems, so we can be unbiased. If you are reading this, it is because you are considering to invest in a swimming pool heat pump. The newest heat pumps have unique operational features that can’t be compared to other traditional methods: like gas or oil heating systems. You can go from a simple basic analog thermostat system from Heat Siphon, if you prefer a very simple reliable unit with less things that could fail ten years from now. An analog system will have a dial knob for you to select your pool and spa setting. Just adjust your prefered setting and walk away. You won’t need to attend your heat pump for the rest of your swimming season. Heat Siphon is one of our favorite heat pump manufacturers because they are the only ones that still offer this simple thermostat option. If in the future if you change your mind, you can just order the digital display control board and hook it up.
We also have the swimming pool heat pump systems that use a digital control like Jandy, Raypak, Hayward and Summit. With digital heat pump control, you control you can monitor the pool temperature and the display can run diagnostics on the unit and display codes for easier troubleshooting. They are also compatible with remote control systems for easy intelligent automation.
Brands like US Air Water Systems are also digital and offer newer advanced technology to operate during colder weather. Their units are targeted to operate below the parameters a standard heat pump can operate. Gulfstream heat pumps also offer digital control and are well known for testing their units with helium for excellent performance. Their state of the art production line has different checking points that test different parts of the unit. Their goal is to minimize on site service calls after your purchase.
These days all pool heat pump manufacturers are using titanium to avoid corrosion, and Scroll compressors for optimum efficiency. You can trust that all the units listed in our site are our favorites with the titanium heat exchangers and scroll compressors as standard equipment.
Even if the pool heat pump is running daily with a blanket at night, you will still spend much less in running costs than with the use of a gas heater.
